Boo! It’s Halloween weekend & Salem County is where it’s at, in my humble opinion. From the Alloway Halloween Parade, to Trunk or Treats, to a doggy costume contest… it’s all spooky fun!

Terror in the Timbers — Friday (Cancelled) & Saturday, 7–10PM (Parvin State Park)

Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee invites you to “walk through the horror” as it presents a Halloween event, “Terror in the Timbers,” on Fridays and Saturdays in October starting at the Danna Trailhead at 789 Parvin Mill Road. Groups will leave every 15 minutes beginning at 7:30 p.m. The walk is open to guests ages 12 and older only. Guests age 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Alloway Halloween Parade — Saturday, 7PM

This, to me, is the premiere Halloween event.

The 2021 Alloway Halloween Parade is scheduled for Saturday October 30th- kicking off at 7pm.

Rain Date set for October 31st at 6pm.

Flashlight Corn Maze — Friday & Saturday 6:30–9PM (Coombs Baryard, Rt 77, Elmer)

Friday AND Saturday! Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Please be sure to bring a FLASHLIGHT! It’s going to be dark out there! Cost is $8 per person. Food and Pumpkins will be available for sale at the event. Maze will take 30–45 minutes to complete.

Halloween Trunk or Treat: Presented By Penns Grove Recreation Department — Saturday, 3–6PM (The Riverwalk)

PG Recreation Department Will Be Hosting Its Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat @ The Riverwalk From 3–6pm.

Dress Your Kids Up In Their Favorite Halloween Costumes & Come Get Candy Galore!! This Will Be A Fun Filled Event With PG Borough Council, Recreation & All Team Members Of The Borough!

Anyone Wanting To Help By Decorate Their Trunk & or Car To Participate In This Event To Help Pass Out Candy To The Kids Are More Than Welcomed To Do So! We Encourage Volunteers To Come Out! This Event Is Open To All Kids.

Community Trunk or Treat — Friday, 6–8PM (The First Baptist Church of Woodstown

Join us for a Church-Community Trunk or Treat on Saturday, September 29, 2021, from 6–8 pm! Asbury UMC, First Baptist of Woodstown, and Woodstown Presbyterian are teaming up, and children (ages 0–100) are invited to wear costumes, spot fun decorated trunks, and trick or treat in 3 safe and exciting church locations. Get ready for TONS of fun and candy!

3rd Annual Nick Mowers Dog Park Spooky Pooch Costume Contest — Saturday, 2PM (Nick Mowers Dog Park, Pennsville)

The registration fee is $5 dollars and a dog or cat food item donation or the Pennsville Animal Shelter.
Registration begins at 2pm
Contest begins at 3pm
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
All registered dogs will receive a picture all dressed up for Halloween, complimentary doggie treats and more.
All dogs must be on a leash!
We will have a 50/50 and pet friendly vendors.
Bring the family!

*Please refrain from bringing your dog if it does not play well with others.

Trunk or Treat — Sunday, 4–6PM (St. John’s Episcopal Church, Salem)

St. John’s Episcopal will host a trunk or treat on Halloween from 4–6PM.
